Steeped in artistic impression Stephen Karena found his talent and zeal for design potent. Possessing more than 30 years’ experience as a head designer for reputable companies, Stephen received several awards at the Melbourne Furntex Furniture show. Seeking to master a new realm of design Stephen spent 12 years building upon his existing skills as lead designer within the motorhome industry. Unable to resist his compelling drive for creative individuality, Stephen took his tenacity and ambition and the creation of SJK Upholstered Interiors began.
